So, Cammelari makes 6 million. What does Bourque make? Because the Flames are less than 100K from the cap. And reports are saying it's just Cammelari for Bourque and a pick.

I read Bourque makes 3.3 million. So thats quite a bit of savings. How amazing is it this happened today? Its probably a big coincidence, this has probably been in the works long before Mike made his comments.

You're correct with that. I know capgeek had CALG space as second least in the league, and it was probably just over 100K. So...still waiting on that solution there.

Honestly I do not think that matter so much now. That is one big difference between the Habs fans when I first started following them and now. Sure, there are still some fans and news stories about the fans wanting a Francophone player but its so much less than it used to be.

I guess now its just coaches.
