Leafs / Kings trade rumour

My source doesn't want to be known, but, here it is:

To LA—Kaberle, Grabovski, John Mitchell, Bill Sweatt
To the Leafs—Jarret Stoll, Wayne Simmonds, Jack Johnson, Brayden Schenn

I think it would be decent for both sides. Leafs continue the youth movement, LA gets some players to help them try to get over the hump a little sooner.

Please dont act like you belong here. I fully understand you crave attention and since you were not getting your fix at ESPN you think that Hoopla will support that high.

i look at that and go wow thats so one sided if its true lombardi should be tied to a tree, beaten and shot.

Kings will have some upcoming tough choices of their own as far as RFAs and UFAs go. Have to save some coin for Doughty next summer.

and promoting a guy like brayden schenn on an entry level contract would be a great way to save coin.....

Shall we get Dup for circumventing the Ban? I guess there is no language in the SBA (Sportshoopla Board Agreement) against it.

What a terrible trade for the Kings. If they do this then Lombardi should be fired on the spot. Kaberle has one year left on his contract and has publicly stated many times that he wants to be on the East Coast. He's obviously a one year rental and the Kings are not in win now or bust mode. Kaberle only beats JJ on the Power Play and the Kings already have Doughty. Then they'd give up an excellent, cheap young forward with tons of grit in Simmonds and a very promising prospect in Schenn for a bunch of crap (Grabovski and Mitchell) and a prospect (Sweatt)??? I can understand why your source wants to remain annonymous ;-)~

A (more) fair trade for both teams would be something like this:

To LA: Kaberle and Grabovski

To TOR: Stoll and Simmonds.

Even then I wouldn't do it if I were LA because if you don't win the Cup this season, this trade is really Grabovski for Simmonds.....
