You can, yes. You can also do one player on each side, or anything in between. The best teams will usually have a human goalie, though, because while the AI goalie makes regular saves pretty well, there are certain glitches you can exploit to score easily. For instance, holding down the "protect puck" button while you go behind the net and come around the other side and shooting will leave the goalie out of position. I think the goalie is programmed to stay between the puck and the goal as best he can before a shot, and moving that way changes where you hold the puck vs. where you shoot the puck from. Either way, anyone who has played enough knows that there are certain moves that work way more than they would in real life.

I don't play online, but I try to avoid those cheap goals also. Just doesn't seem right.

yep me too... i try to play it real.. makes it hard as hell to score tho i tell you what haha

i've noticed that with the scoring too though, if you manual deke and hold the puck out, then do a toe-drag type wrist shot and try to shelf it, its a good scoring opportunity fairly frequently.. and i think that one is pretty realistic

go down the left side as a right handed shot. deke left then right then wrist shot. it works a lot. i try to avoid it.

I'm used to it. Most of my family and all the Inlaws already hate the idea.

I say it's because they are jealous that my team has more physical trainers than lawyers.
