i seriously doubt he transfers. a guy that was willing to wait a year and took the SAT about a billion times just so he could get here...seems like he is really committed to the school. a position change seems reasonable but i really don't see him transferring

My tummy is rumbling as well. I would be a little disappointed if I was Heard, after all he went through to get to NU, then he get's like what 2 snaps all year. I hope things work out for him and he sticks with us, but I would understand if he did. It would be a mistake to give up so soon though.

I guarantee you he will go to the NFL if he switches to corner. I would bet good money as long as he didn't get injured.

but, IMO, corner takes more intangibles than any other position other than QB. so my question is, does he have what it takes to be a great corner?

You have a point, but I think just flat out athletic ability trumps all. Generally the best athletes on your team play corner.

I imagine he was already approached by Pelini to try another position, and if the position is corner, then the belly flop thingy may be scaring him! I'm sure he, like the rest of the secondary players would much rather learn the fundamentals and improve as a football player as opposed to improving their belly flops! Just saying.

Are you kidding? What lost that game is what lost quite a few games and will continue to lo lose quite a few games for Nebraska, and that is Pelini and his staff's inability to make adjustments especially after halftime.
