The refs made several bad calls.....that were on big plays. Overall they were not terrible....

The Pass Interference called on Wes Kemp was one of the worst I have seen.

The Personal foul called on Missouri after the INT return in the 4th qtr, are you kidding me? He flipped the ball....that is it. The block in the back they called was questionable as well....Simmons had gotten his head in front of the guy and he was on his side. Missouri should have the ball deep in Illinois territory.

As for Illinois being bad, I disagree. I don't think they are a great team or anything....but are much improved from last year. Their young defense was hitting hard and they were obviously fired up and tired of losing to their non con rival. Their offense isn't great, they don't have any WR's, but their QB is going to be pretty good. He was really good in HS.

I am not going to complain about a beating our non con rival by 10 points opening week. Our offense got it going in the 2nd half and Gabbert looks great. We don't have the one stud WR, but we have a bunch of pretty solid WR's....TJ Moe looks like Wes Welker. Looks like we have a TE again as well.....Missouri did a lot of really good stuff, especially in the 2nd half and I liked our defense

But I agree..... I don't think Illinois is a bad team, last year I thought they were- but you totally disagreed with me then...........

I think they should be bowl eligible this year... Their qb looks like he could be a real threat down the road.

I don't think gabbert looked all that great....... Your offense will make any qb look good..... 95% of the throws are in the air for approx 7 yards...... most of the rest are deep balls......

He's a big bodied guy with a strong arm, but his ankles could be a recurring issue..
