I've seen on a couple of other sites that he made the switch to LB yesterday. If true, this could really help a depleted LB corp down the road. I would expect to see him on special teams this week with game action coming next year.

From all accounts the young 'un is too talented to not be on the dang field. Sort of like Marvin McNutt.

From what I have read, Weinke would be serviceable as a backup but, if JVB would go down for a long stretch, Derby would start. Derby has been with the LB's all week so we'll see how it goes. That's where Florida wanted him to play.
