Don't know if anyone else saw this.

Todd Haley Replacement Chatter in Kansas City: Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz? | The Big Lead

I just don't see it happening.

The ONLY NFL team I could see Ferentz going to is KC becuase of his relationship with their GM and because of all the ex-Hawks on the roster. That said I see no reason to leave a sweet gig at Iowa for an unsure NFL future.

This must mean Ferentz is going to get another pay raise. I am sure it is his agent spreading these rumors again.

There is no way Ferentz goes. His son is still there and he stated a few years ago that he wanted to stay until his kids were gone. Plus, he isn't exactly young anymore.

He has another son I assume will be playing for the Hawks too. I can't imagine him leaving anytime soon.

Why on Kirk's Greene Earth would he leave a good dang thing? He makes good money, has job security and is respected by his players. He's been in the NFL. I don't reckon he likes the attitudes nor the potentially short career. See Terry Francona. Win championships and it still don't matter much.
