The report is long, but what it boils down to is when Richt thought an assistant deserved more money - he paid them himself.

The violations were secondary and no further action by the SEC or NCAA will be taken.

So it's not ok to give money to coaches?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Yeah, sounds pretty stupid. One instance, the AD decided not to give bowl bonuses to some of the low level staff & Richt gave them their bonuses himself. Another time, a coach left right before he got a 5 year bonus, so Richt cut him a check.

Sounds like BS, but other than "further education", no punishment will be given and I'm sure Richt will keep doing what he thinks is right.
