Last year, the Orlando sentinel put Richt on the hot seat, this year, they have him #1 (even over Tressel)...

Some of this article is right on the money. People need to remember that Paul Finebaum, of all people, is the one who started the hot seat talk for Richt.

He got the Florida fan's perspective right lol. I actually like Richt, and not (only) for the reason listed in the article.

I thought you'd agree with that. It seems to be the consensus at UF. As far as liking Richt - how could you not? While most coaches are on vacation right now, he's in Honduras on a mission with his church.

I think Richt is 3rd or 4th on the winningest active coaches list. UGA would be stupid not to let atleast 2 or 3 bad seasons slide.

And you should here the boosters talk about Richt. He won't be fired this season, no matter what happens.

Quiet frankly I think Richt has severly under achieved during his time at Georgia. The guy is at Georgia, in the state of Georgia where football is peoples lives and he hasn't won much in recent years. His team has fallen off greatly the last year or two and doesn't show any signs of coming up and taking the SEC crown. I think Moreno actually has ruined his future. He had so much potential with Moreno on his squad, but he never did anything.

ok I will stop sying that Georgia with it's history and funding (such as that post that had Georgia at #2 in profits and you gloated about) should not be in contention for the SEC title every year. That should be the schools expectations for the Bulldogs.

Do you realize that UGA had fallen to the level of Kentucky before Richt?
Do you realize that Georgia didn't make anywhere near those profits before Richt?
Do you realize that UGA had 0 SEC championships (since 1992 when the SEC expanded & started playing CCG) before Richt?
Do you realize that Richt is the #2 winningest active coach in the NCAA?

Richt does confuse me a lot but I don't want him gone. Even if he did get "kicked out" there isn't anyone I'd want at UGA coaching right now anyways.

And who let the Duck in?? Shouldn't he be having to change his uniform again?

I don't know, but I guess I hurt his feeling in this thread (I should have just ignored him), because he immediately attempted a trolling on the general forum. It was pathetic. Also, I think he was pissed about this thread CBS accuses Oregon of shady recruiting practices .
