It was an above average class. I think our classes will get better. Recruiting class rankings arent everything.

No it wasn't. It was a completely horrible class outside of DGB. If Texas had brought in that class, or any other decent team in the SEC, their fanbases would be having a total meltdown right now.

I guess we define a "good" class differently. 16 3star commits, 1 4star, and 1 5star is not my definition of a good class.

If Texas had pulled that in, Longhorn nation would be shitting bricks right now.

Maybe that's a good class for Mizzou.....but that level of talent will not win you many games in the SEC. Try looking at the classes your conference mates pulled in, and maybe think about the class your Tigers pulled in.

Vanderbilt was competing in the SEC this year. They had close games with Arkansas, UGA, Florida, and Tennessee. Im pretty sure Missouri has out-recruited Vandy the past few years. I dont think there is any reason to assume Mizzou won't be competitive soon.

You'd be wrong, Vandy has actually outrecruited them, including this year

And Vandy really hasn't been that competitive, they've never come close to competing in the SEC for anything.....they've gotten harder to beat, but only slightly so.....they still get pounded most of the time in conference.

Missouri has been in the top 50 according to rivals every year between 07-12 (all i bothered looking at). This year was the only time Vandy was in the top 50. Vandy was MUCH harder to beat this year - likely because of their new coach. If Vandy can turn around that much in a year I cant imagine Missouri not ever being successful in the SEC.
