I am sure the Big 12 can find the $25 to cover those exit fees lol. Besides, I would like to see Boise in a conference that mattered so there doesn't have to be any discussion about their worth.

Boise may never get into a real league, and there are very valid reasons why. But I think everyone would like to see these guys play real competition week in and week out. TCU and Utah are so far the torch bearers.

2 - small school, field, not great at other sports or academics

= no real reason for any conference to add them. They have to generate more money than it costs to share with them, and if the football team sucks, what else do they have?

non revenue generator???? do you even understand how many people would be interested just to see how we would do?? some people would probably rather watch us play Kansas than seeing Texas play Kansas.

we have a plan in place to expand the stadium as we go and in fact we are already beginning the process of it. Academics are improving as we go as well, we are also actually pretty decent at quite a few other sports unless in saying "other sports" you only mean basketball. We have a top wrestling program that already plays in the Pac-12.

People would watch you play ONCE.....if you lose, then nobody is watching you. Ask Utah. The fact is, you have NO guaranteed market you can deliver week to week.

BSU is NOT going to get competitive ratings weekly no matter who they play longterm. Short term, perhaps.....but that's only as long as the team is competitive.

Once you have a bad season, POOF! Goodbye interest from the common fan. You are not a powerhouse. You are not a top draw. Stop kidding yourself.

And it really doesn't matter what your wrestling team does, because that's not a money sport.

BSU simply does not bring much to a major conference of value. You guys need to stop being so sensitive over this. If you HAD something a major conference wanted, guess what? You'd BE in a major conference!

Over time, all this may change, and as you say, you are in process of making changes.....but those changes will take TIME.

You can call it that.....but if you think differently, I think you're pretty delusional.

KNOW who you are. BSU is a good, growing program. But they are not a top draw, and do not offer a major conference much at all RIGHT NOW.

That may change over time......but this is a very real reason why nobody has really gone after you, even in the midst of all the conference realignment. The BE only did when they had no other choice.

That's reality. But the thing is, if you guys keep growing, that will change.
