Arky would be favored. They actually play defense unlike Okie lite and they can run the ball so they are way more balanced.

Bama's argument to get into the game was they had the best loss.

OK State vs. Iowa State would be an even game, too. Harsh, sure, but this Oklahoma State love is really pissing me off. Alabama did not struggle with anybody besides LSU all season. There was not a single second in the second half where any of their 12 wins were in question. Oklahoma State was taken to the brink by TAMU, Texas, K-State, and Stanford (who was a decent kicker away from a win). Alabama was the better team this year.

If you really think Oklahoma State deserves the title because they played one more Top 25 team (or whatever lame criteria you want to use), you are admitting you think we should decide a champion based largely on an AD's ability to schedule. I think that is horse shit, and we should determine the champion based on who played the best this year (while still recognizing that victory was the ultimate goal). That team was clearly Alabama.

Why in the hell are you defending Alabama? A team with no offense that struggled to put away a Penn State team which had an even worse offense. The game was so bad even PC critic John Dvorak called it miserable.

Nothing you posted here makes any sense or is even vaguely relevant.

01 Ohio State had a TON of close wins. 05 SC and Texas both skated by some teams. Margin of victory is meaningless if you aren't playing the EXACT same schedule.

Bama played NOBODY.....they should have been winning every game. OKie Lite played mostly nobodies as well, but played better teams overall than Bama.

The fact is, there is NO justification for Bama being in the title game that holds water, none. Bama was a better team because you, and the media/coaches THOUGHT they were. Not because they proved it on the field.

They were the 3rd place team in their own conference. Okie Lite was the first place team in theirs. Until you can trump this, you have ZERO argument.
