That is of course provided ya'll don't lose to Appy State first

What's your outlook for Clemson's offensive change ups with QB and OC? I've heard mixed reviews.

Tahj certainly has all the skills and work ethic to succeed and Morris has certainly proven his system can generate massive yardage and points at Tulsa , but whether it can be effective against major conference athletes remains to be seen. Tajh had an excellent summer practice and has improved tremendously with his accuracy, and if you watched the end of our bowl game he led us to three straight scoring drives with less than 10 minutes left in the fourth. He had a shot to win the game on our third onside recovery, but the corner touched the ball about half a yard too soon.

The short and skinny of it is he basically runs a variation of Gus Malzahn's spread option read and runs 60% of the time. We definitely have the guys to run it, although the power running game is a little iffy since Harper fled to the NFL. Provided Andre Ellington can stay healthy and Mike Bellamy can back up all his talk, we could be humming by the time we get to Blacksburg. Hopefully with some of the younger receivers we've got, we'll at least spread the field vertically (or horizontally) enough to allow Dwayne Allen some operating space in the 10-15 yard range which proved very effective in practice. However, given our recent struggles at the LB spot that may be why. I think if we can average around 28 points a game, we'll win at least 8 games this year because the defense should be close to where it was last year, even if the linebackers are middling at best.

I think CUT4L is still shopping. I imagine thathe, like many would just as soon stick with the ESPN boards if they had not screwed it up so much. You will probably see more movement since ESPN is supposed to be shutting down the old format today.

I will say one thing, Southern Pigkin doesn't seem too bad. I haven't joined, but it is a decnt looking format and the seem pretty serious about keeping the discussions civilized.

I join both. There will be room for both. We may have to go out into the desert and bring them to us if you will..........
