Hit-n-Run
Go Reds!!!
Senzel playing multiple positions has been the intended goal since being drafted. It hasn't materialized to the some extent due to injuries, but I haven't heard anything that suggest that plan has changed. I think initially they'll try and capitalize on his versatility, but eventally he'll settle in one position. Where he finds a home may be determined more by where other legit offensive prospects can't play. Senzel's versatility makes the puzzle easier to assemble.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to assume CF is going to be manned on a regular basis by someone already on the roster. Ervin and Schebler are below average defensive players and Winker may be the slowest player in the league. Billy Hamilton was non-tendered because the price didn't match the talent. I expect the club to sign/trade for a better defensive option than currently available. They may pay more than Hamilton's projected salary for a player that does more than run fast and smile alot. Either way they can pick up a glove first CF for less than $6M if that becomes the only remaining option.
